Dedicated to the physical, emotional and well-being of our
residents through quality healthcare.
Specializing in short term rehabilitation including Physical,
Occupation, Speech and IV therapy.
Caroline Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center is a 98 bed,
non-profit, skilled facility located in the heart of Caroline
County, on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
In 1967 a group of concerned business people saw the need for
quality care for the elderly population of Caroline County.
Through much dedicated work, this group raised interest and funds
for a nursing home.
In 1971 the Caroline Nursing Home, Inc. was opened with two
resident wings for a total of 52 beds. Since 1971 the facility
has undergone numerous changes. We now have four resident
wings.
As the face of health care has changed, so has the array of
services provided by our facility. In 2001 the facility added
"Rehabilitation Center" to the name. The name reflects the
large amount of short term rehabilitation performed at the
facility.
While there have been many improvements and changes, some things
remain consistent. Caroline Nursing Home and Rehabilitation
Center is still non-profit with a group of concerned business
people serving as the volunteer board of directors. This allows
the monies earned to be reinvested into the facility for
comprehensive, quality resident care.
Respecting that each resident is unique, we tailor services to
each individual's needs. Our goal is to maintain the residents'
health, independence, dignity and quality of life.
Our Admission Team is ready to
assist you in every way.
